Payment, the easy way to pay your water bill!
With Direct Payment, your bi-monthly water bill is automatically paid from
your checking or savings account. You don't have to write checks or worry
about forgetting a payment or mailing it on time. Plus you save the cost
of stamps and checks. Recordkeeping is easy too - your bank account
statement provides an items list of automatic payments.
This brochure answers the most common questions people ask about Direct
Payment. You can call our Customer Service Department at 303-238-0451 with
any other questions you might have.
If you would like to try Direct Payment, just complete and sign the
authorization form and return it with your water bill along with a voided check
or deposit slip.

Why should I use the program?
Direct Payment is an automatic bill payment. Your water bill is paid
automatically from your checking or savings account. You don't have to
write a check! It saves time! It saves work! It simplifies
your life! Paying bills is a time-consuming chore. Direct Payment
takes it off your hands.
How much does it cost?
Direct Payment is absolutely free. There are no sign up fees, and no
charge per transaction. In fact, if you currently pay your bills by mail,
you'll save money on postage and checks.
How much time does it take?
Once you sign up for Direct Payment, paying your water bill will take no time at
all. Your bill will be automatically deducted from your checking or
savings account. With Direct Payment you'll never be hassled with
remembering to pay your water bill. Even if you forget, Direct Payment
will remember for you, even when you're away on vacation or business.
Is it safe?
Direct Payment is probably less risky than a check. It can't be lost,
stolen or destroyed in the mail, and it has an extremely high rate of
accuracy. We don't expect any mistakes. But if you ever suspect a
problem, call Consolidated (303-238-0451) to have someone look into it for
you. Our electronic funds transfers use the highest possible security and
encryption available.
When do I know how much I'm being charged?
You will continue to get your monthly statement. This will give you the
amount due and give you time to ask any questions you might have.
When will the amount be deducted from my bank account?
If your bill is dated from the 1st of the month to the 15th of the month, the
amount due will be deducted from your bank account on the 23rd of the
month. If your bill is dated from the 16th of the month to the last day of
the month the amount due will be deducted from your bank account on the 8th of
the following month.
How do I cancel if I don't like it?
With Direct Payment, you are always in charge. This is a benefit that we
are offering to our stockholders/users. It is not an obligation. If
you decide not to use Direct Payment, just notify us in writing and it will be
cancelled.
