Daupler After-Hours
Emergency Response Management

Consolidated Mutual Water Company is implementing Daupler, an after-hours emergency response management system used by water utilities nationwide to improve response times for water main breaks and other critical infrastructure emergencies.

Daupler's Response Management System (RMS) analyzes incoming incident information to quickly classify and prioritize events. The system determines which issues require immediate response and which can be addressed during normal business hours. This approach reduces unnecessary callouts and overtime while ensuring response resources are used efficiently. Responding crews receive complete, actionable information when rapid response is required.

Improved Emergency Response and Safety

Daupler automates on-call schedules, callouts, and escalation workflows, preventing duplicate dispatches and identifying the closest available crew. Crew acknowledgment, arrival, and departure times are automatically tracked, providing real-time visibility into response status. Safety is enhanced through automated alerts if crews fail to check in within defined timeframes, allowing corrective action to be taken promptly.

Efficient After-Hours Call Management

Daupler provides reliable after-hours answering and incident management services. Whether calls are currently routed to a dispatcher, on-call staff, or voicemail, the system improves consistency, accountability, and responsiveness outside normal business hours.

Operational Efficiency and Customer Experience

Manual calling trees and paperwork are eliminated, while compliance with seniority, overtime, and union requirements is maintained. Incident data is automatically captured and integrated with work order systems, improving accuracy and reducing administrative effort. Customers may also submit photos and track request status, improving transparency and reducing follow-up calls.

Infrastructure

Each year, the Consolidated Mutual Water Company (CMWC) continues to evaluate, maintain, and improve its water system infrastructure to enhance water quality, operational efficiency, and overall system reliability.

Additional investments in water quality monitoring and metering infrastructure further strengthened system reliability, fire protection, and long-term operational performance. These improvements represent CMWC's continued commitment to proactive infrastructure investment, regulatory compliance, and reliable service delivery for its customers.
